Celebrate the Legacy
"Celebrate the Legacy: 30 Years of Hope" is The Baddour Center's theme for its 30th Anniversary, representing the legacy and hope that have inspired so many since The Center was opened in 1978.

Wanting to leave a legacy to God and to serve man, Paul Baddour left seed money and a charge to his sons, Paul M. and Don, to use the funds for a charitable purpose.

The Center has seen many changes to the land since 1977 when construction began, including the most recent renovation and expansion of GoodWorks Complex II. Throughout all of the changes, one thing is certain: The Center has held steadfast to its mission.

The Baddour Center was established as a place where individuals with intellectual disabilities could grow into the people that God created them to be. It continues to provide residents with more opportunities for growth through the programs and services made available to them.

During The Center's 30th year as a privately funded, non-profit organization, many activities are planned, such as a Blast from the Past, where residents and staff can dress in the last 3 decades' fashion, as well as an official 30th Anniversary Gala.

From residents and their families to staff, donors, and volunteers, The Baddour Center would like to express its appreciation to everyone who has made it the community that it is today. We look forward to 30 more years of hope, as residents' continue seeing their dreams come true!

Food for the Soul "And the angel said unto them, 'Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.'"

Luke 2:10-11
