Enrichment concludes Delta Blues study with tour
Residents of The Baddour Center who participate in the Enrichment Program concluded their monthlong study of the Delta Blues with a trip to Clarksdale, Mississippi, where they toured the Delta Blues Museum and ate lunch at Morgan Freeman's Ground Zero.
"Some of the residents are very familiar with the music of Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, and B.B. King," said Lynn Resneck, Enrichment Activities Coordinator for The Center. " personal visit to the museum provided them an opportunity to truly appreciate the historical impact the Mississippi Delta has had on the blues."

Residents and staff celebrated our nation's independence with a softball game, fresh-cut watermelon, swimming in the outdoor pool, homemade ice cream, an enormous waterslide, and live music by Ford Moore and the Decades.
You might be asking, "What about fireworks?" A beautiful fireworks show completed the celebration of 232 years of freedom for our great country.
We are thankful for independence and pray that God continues to abundantly bless America and her people!
