7th Annual Miracle Drive Golf Tournament is a hit!

Although it was partly cloudy, hot and humid, Mid-South golfers enjoyed starting their holiday weekend a day early at the 7th Annual Miracle Drive Golf Tournament, a benefit for The Baddour Center.

The four-person scramble began and ended with food provided by First Choice Catering.

Following the shotgun start at 1 p.m., 34 teams, including two Baddour resident teams, hit the fairways with a chance to win a new Mustang from Country Ford of Southaven.

Participants also bid on choice silent auction items, such as a Destin beach package and golf package featuring a Callaway Hybrid club.

Everyone wrapped up the day with awards, including the putting contest, longest drive, and closest to the pin winners.

The Miracle Drive Golf Tournament was held at the state-of-the-art The Links at Cottonwoods Golf Course, at Harrah's, Tunica.

Cottonwoods' rolling fairways features a links-style, par 72 course. Three winning teams were chosen in two flights.

The tournament is projected to make $60,000. Thanks to all who made it a success. We hope to see everyone on the greens next year!
