Baddour Center residents joined the Baddour Crusaders and cheerleaders to watch the Memphis Grizzlies take on the New York Knicks. IDI in Memphis hosted the event.
The Baddour Center Crusaders - announced onto the court in true NBA fashion - played a baketball game on April 2, in Memphis Grizzlies territory against the IDI Wildcats team, made of IDI and partnering companies' employees.
With the Baddour cheerleaders rooting for them, the Crusaders defeated the Wildcats 46 to 37. IDI hosted the 17th Annual HoopFest event, a fundraiser for The Baddour Center.
In previous years, HoopFest has been a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, where participating teams tipped off against teams made of residents of The Baddour Center, known as the Crusaders.
This year, however, IDI successfully changed the event for a day and evening of fun.
If playing at the FedEx Forum was not exciting enough, over 100 HoopFest participants and other Baddour residents and staff attended the Grizzlies basketball game that evening. HoopFest became an even better memory when the Grizzlies defeated the New York Knicks, giving Baddour residents an extra reason to celebrate - two victories in one day!
Thanks IDI (www.idi.com) for another fun, successful HoopFest event.
We look forward to next year!

The Wildcats (l to r) are Tim Moore of IDI, Kyle Patterson of IDI, Greg DeWitt of Grubb & Ellis, Kurt Nelson of IDI, Steven Gaines of KBD Construction Services, and Baddour Fitness Manager Shannon Adams.

Baddour Crusaders and IDI Wildcats team members wait to see if the Crusaders will score two...again...to bring home the victory from the FedEx Forum court!
